This is the second time Sunday Funday has featured Australia’s only Sudanese Stand-up Comedian, Mujahid Ahmed, who lives in my home town and works for the agency I work for (lucky us!).

The Racist Test

There was much controversy this week about a skit on the new (old) Hey Hey It’s Saturday, in which Indian men put on blackface and imitated the Jackson 5.
Was it racist? Was it not racist? Was it racist, but not very, because we are embarrassed about the recent treatment of Indians in Australia?  Or was it simply stupid, as Andrew Bolt suggests?
