Sunday Funday is indeed over. I woke up to a litany of awful news about asylum seekers:

Some 1,100 unaccompanied immigrant children, 30 per cent of whom are believed to be Afghans between 10 to 15 years of age are estimated to live in Rome’s streets, compared to and 262 in 2007 and just 32 in 2004.

Two more boats carrying African migrants to Italy sank off Libya in separate incidents over the past two days, killing at least 21 people and leaving hundreds missing. The bodies of the 21 were found after a rickety boat with 253 migrants went down off the coast of the North African country.

Pakistani police have found 44 bodies inside a shipping container in what appears to have been a failed attempt at human trafficking. Some 150 people are said to have been inside the container, most of them Afghans. The victims suffocated.
